General Information
A guaranteed guest count is due three business days prior to your event and is not subject to reduction after that time. Should your event not meet the guaranteed guest count, JT Schmid’s shall charge for the difference in number of guests between the guaranteed guest count and actual number of guests in attendance. JT Schmid’s reserves the right to relocate your function to a more appropriate location within the restaurant should your group’s anticipated attendance number change significantly.
Minimum Requirements
Private areas may require a minimum of food and beverage sales. Please consult with your banquet coordinator or a manager. If the minimum is not reached, the shortage shall be considered a room charge.
Sales Tax and Service Charge
An 18% service charge will be added to all food & beverage orders. California State Regulation #160g requires state sales tax (7.75%) to be charged on all food, beverage, gratuity, labor, audio-visual and rental charges.
Deposits
For parties of 15-24 guests, a $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure an event reservation. Parties of 25-40 guests require a $300.00 non-refundable deposit and parties of 50+ guests require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit. Upon completion of your event, the entire balance is due and payable by cash or credit card. To arrange direct billing, please consult with your event coordinator or a restaurant manager.

Prices are subject to change with guaranteed pricing 90 days prior to event date.
Set-up Fees
Private rooms subject to room rental/set-up fee. Additional charges may include:
• Table cloths/linens — $2 per person
• Public address system — $50.00
• Dance floor rental — $125
• Cake cutting/outside dessert fee — $1.25 per person
• Corkage fee — $15 per bottle
• Projection Screen — $25
Decorations
All decorations, incoming equipment and entertainment must be approved prior to your event date.
Beverages
